Local prices

How much do local movers cost in San Diego per hour?

Two movers and a truck cost $139 an hour, the same rate every day. Billing runs in 15-minute increments. Each extra mover adds $50 an hour. There are no stair fees.

What keeps the bill down: no stair fees at either end, 15-minute billing after the minimum, the same rate on weekends, and 50 free boxes, blankets, shrink wrap and floor protection with every move. The minimum is 4 hours, not 2.

Every local move gets a written Not-to-Exceed price before we start, so the bill can’t pass it unless you add services.

Corporate relocation

Do you handle corporate and employee relocation in San Diego?

Yes. One Stop handles corporate relocation for San Diego businesses: office moves, office furniture and equipment (FF&E) moved and installed, lab and medical equipment, and household moves for relocating employees. Office moves are billed at crew hourly rates, from $139 an hour for two movers and a truck, with a written price after a free walkthrough.

Employee relocation works like any household move: local moves at the same crew rates with 50 free boxes, long-distance moves on a dedicated truck at one price per city, and storage between homes when the dates don’t line up.

Crews work 7 days a week, 7 AM to 7 PM, at the same rate every day, so an office can move over a weekend.

Reliable movers

How do I find reliable movers near me in San Diego?

Check four things: a California mover license on the state’s DCA search, a USDOT number for interstate moves, reviews on Google, Yelp and the BBB, and whether the crew are employees. One Stop holds license CAL-190616 and USDOT 1956864, is rated A+ by the BBB, and uses full-time employees, never day laborers.
